Comments: Christopher brought us to a village in Zambia where we met Obert and his friends. At first we sat under a straw hut and smoked their ganja out of school construction paper. It was quite harsh but it did the trick. We all riff raffed about music and making art. The guys walked us through their village to meet their families. Simon busted out a big bag of toys and treats for the young ones and all the kids run up to him from all over the village. Once we were out, we headed back towards Zim. And on the way, Obert and his son met us with his other friends who were playing in the water. Obert stood in the Zambezi river with his baby brother and picked him up to hold him in the water for the moving portrait. Their sacred river, that brings life and rainbow to Victoria Falls. You have to be careful when playing in this water, as there are crocs and hippos swimming around feeding on their turf and the ancient rip current is strong and silently creating vortexes underneath the surface. Obert and his family; The elder teaching the youngling. Life will go on like the current flows never stop. Cycles of rebirth and renewal with all the generations between sharing stories of wisdom and their memories to be passed on. Why water means life on a planet? A reflection to the liquid that flows within us. Just as consciousness is a thought, water is life.
