Vivid - an ode to india
om mani padme hum
Through my travels in Sarnath — a place of deep spiritual importance to Buddhism — and across the serene landscapes of Spiti, where Buddhism is the heart of daily life, I found myself drawn closer to a faith that teaches nothing but goodness. Kindness, compassion, simplicity, self-sufficiency, and service form the essence of what it means to live a Buddhist life.
There’s a quiet strength in this way of being, a sense of peace that lingers not just in the teachings, but in the spaces themselves. The stillness inside a Buddhist monastery, the calm presence within a Buddha temple — it’s a kind of serenity that’s rare to find elsewhere. It stays with you, long after you leave. Truly, it is something beautiful.
