Teatro Canal
The Canal Theater of Colón, located in the province of Matanzas, Cuba, is one of the most emblematic cultural and historical buildings in the area. Opened on October 1, 1938, by the prosperous Asturian businessman Francisco Canal Cuervo, this historic venue of Art Deco architecture established itself for decades as a luxury cinema-theater with a capacity for 1,000 spectators.
