RETREATS OF NEGLECT

This series is a tribute and a visual representation of those spaces that are part of Matanzas (Cuba) heritage history and cultural identity. In this volume the cinemas, theaters and cinema spaces of which only traces of their former splendor remain are recorded, making visible the context they embody today as "Retreats of neglect". I use documentary photography as an expressive language. This work was part of the XIII Havana Biennial in Matanzas, by acquiring it you unlock a high quality image.
