Besieged
Walking along Istiklal Street, I stopped in front of a building that I'd later learn was the Yapı Kredi Culture Center. I liked the way the staircase, the window grids, and the police barriers came together, so I slowed down and started looking for a composition.
I waited, and after a short while, a woman stopped on the stairs and took out her phone. Her presence gave me the moment I was looking for, and I pressed the shutter.
