Behind the Wall 1
When I visited Eastpoint, I was drawn to the colors and geometric forms around the shopping center and ended up spending much of my time photographing instead of shopping. In this particular scene, I first took a few photos of one of the walls on its own. After changing my position, I noticed another wall in front of it, adding a new layer to the frame. I liked the way the two walls overlapped and created a different view of the space.
This photograph is part of Behind the Walls, a sub-series within Cities in Color built around the idea of seeing something rise or reveal from behind a wall.
