THE MUSEUM OF THINGS I NEVER SAID
# THE MUSEUM OF THINGS I NEVER SAID
*“I swallowed so many words that eventually, there was no room left for me.”*
There were so many things I wanted to say.
I wanted to tell you that you hurt me.
That your silence broke something inside me.
That sometimes I smiled because explaining my sadness felt more exhausting than hiding it.
I wanted to ask you to stay.
I wanted to ask why I was never enough.
I wanted to tell you how many nights I spent rehearsing conversations that would never happen.
But every time the moment came, I chose silence.
I folded my feelings into smaller and smaller pieces.
I locked my anger away.
I buried my apologies beside confessions I was too afraid to make.
And slowly, without realizing it, I became a museum of everything I had never said.
Every unopened letter inside me holds a sentence that could have changed something.
Every copper compartment preserves a moment when I wanted to speak but couldn't.
Every fracture remembers a truth I was afraid someone wouldn't want to hear.
People called me peaceful.
They called me understanding.
They never knew how loud it was inside me.
And the cruelest part?
I always had the key.
It was there in my hand, waiting.
But I had spent so long protecting everyone from my truth that I forgot how to set it free.
Now my body is an archive.
My silence has become architecture.
And everything I never said has outlived the person I used to be.
**I didn't lose my voice.**
**I became everything my voice was supposed to release.**
