Silent Yellow
Silent Yellow
This work is a deep tribute to an artist who, years ago, changed the way I see and understand art. For me, Van Gogh is not only a painter; he is a reminder that even in the most difficult moments of life, art can become a way to continue, to endure, and to see beauty again.
In this portrait, I have tried to move beyond a mere representation of his face and instead approach his inner world—where suffering exists alongside an intense urge to create. For me, the color yellow is not only a visual choice in this piece, but a symbol of light and hope; a light I wanted to flow through his gaze and surrounding space, reminding us of a clearer way of seeing life.
