This painting began with admiration for Vincent van Gogh, an artist whose courage and devotion to painting inspired the beginning of my own artistic journey. Rather than recreating one of his works, I wanted to enter into a quiet conversation with his spirit through my own brushstrokes. The vibrant yellow background became more than a color—it became a symbol of the inner light that I believe exists within every person. Against it, the blue flowers stand in gentle contrast, reminding me that strength and softness can exist together. Painted with thick layers of oil and expressive marks, I chose to leave every texture visible, allowing the process itself to become part of the story.
