WEATHERING THE STORM
When I was a kid, I sang a song as every other kid whenever it rained, 'rain rain go away, come again another day, little children want to play', and played in the rain away. Now that I'm grown, I've become accustomed to a different kind of rain, the one that doesn't fall from the skies, the one that requires courage and perseverance to weather it. This piece is an enactment of that idea, in which the rain and umbrella aren't what they seem, but a metaphorical representation of hurdles and persistence.
Come rain or sunshine, we keep pushing forward.
