Brusch Standalone Multi-Creations

Brusch, G. (2025). A Working Class Study; The butt crack as a generational link: the intersection of Baby Bommers and Gen X. Photography and Glitch Art Publications.

This Multi-Creation token brings an acid and humorous take on the habits of the working class active during 80s and 90s. Baby Bommers and Generation X labor workers. Mainly from classes B and C and the classic BUTT CRACK disgusting characteristic. These can lead to multiple social reflections. The flood of consumer goods and the absolute no care for health on the industry. The absence of good nutritional habits that would lead the US to an massive obese population. The lack of social decorum and the distance of the workers masses to the fancy fashion style. Old jeans, short shirts, overweight and junk food lifestyle. Is not by chance that Generation X is also called the Builders Generation. A window on the rapid technology advancement where thousands of small business and jobs related to maintenance, installation and fixing were highly active. Things were bought to last and not disposable and many other social structures that have vanished in a few decades. I was born in middle 80s so my actual memory recollects mainly the 90s. I still remember how I disliked people that came into my house when I was a kid to install or fix washing machines, electronic goods and even the guy who used to come to remove the curtains to wash - many were fixed with many little rolling pins and was normal to have more than one layer so just to remove it to wash and later to put it back was hours of butt crack scene. My mind grew mindful and traumatized with a childhood filled of butt cracks everywhere. This is clearly for me the icon of the working class of that period. As a neurodivergent person my perspective about the world was always considered unusual or weird to many but never incorrect, I just payed attention to things that most didn't. This butt crack situation was one of them empirically researched and confirmed, but most times I have heard: "I have never realized this before..." This artwork is based on a photographic representation of the habits of the Butt Crack generation of workers and acidly glitched in 5 different versions according to themes of the 80s and 90s. A total of 14 arts: The original and main 4x3 version with 7 images: 1 Cover, 1 Original Photo Without Retouch, 5 Glitched Themed Additional Artworks. A second cropped version of the same 7 artworks in a 16:9 format. Current art is 4x3 cover 4096x3262. 1200DPI.
