Comments: The Ankh, is the Key of Life. A symbol of vitality. The totemic shape for the union of opposites: male and female, Osiris and Isis, representing heaven and earth. Death is the doorway. And this key, this golden ankh is the master key. Birth is the entry to life. The ultimate portal into material consciousness. What were we made up of before we came into being? Do we have memories, dreams, or thoughts? Was it all arrived from thin air, a crystalline clarity of pure light nothingness? Is it the same when we go, when we die? Or does it all get painted black to the abyss when the flame of our mind is extinguished? Perhaps, it is the same place before and after. And here in the now is the flash of light from the darkness. Seeing into the night of the cosmos. Where the universe experiencing itself through our eyes and senses. Life is a dream unto itself. So who holds the key? And where did this symbol come from? Is it where the man meets woman to give birth to their child. The key to life itself is giving life from itself. Generations and evolution; human nature is the gateway. The Ankh is written all over the walls in Luxor, and in every temple you will see in Egypt. It is used as many times as you would see a period in the English language. What symbols are sacred to us as this was the most precious to ancient Egyptians? Do we have a word, or a use for something so powerful? The original cross before Christ himself. A code written into our language that goes deeper than we can remember. Bestowed onto us by the gods themselves; Ra, the sun. From the heavens of life-giving power. Isis, the mother grants us fertility. Osiris, the god of the underworld, holds the ankh towards resurrection. And, Anubis, The dog headed god who is the guardian of the dead. He uses the ankh in funerary rites to ensure safe passage to the afterlife and weighs the deceased's heart against the feather of truth and justice in the Hall of Two Truths to decide your fate between the fields of paradise and a heavy heart causing the soul to perish forever. In the end, key to eternal life, the clear quartz crystal wrapped golden Ankh, says to thee, May you be healthy and alive for all of eternity.
