Comments: t was the spring solstice at the Pyramids of Giza and the great Sphinx. The ancient wonder of the world. How did these pyramids get built, who built them, and why? Where did these ancient civilizations go, and how did we forget over time as we evolved into the modern day the stories of the past? Is it some sort of cultural amnesia over generations? Will it happen again with new empires and dynasties that form in the world today? How can we imagine a past from 3000 years ago and the environment that the sands of time blown over what we see now. To transport ourselves to a forgotten world with technologies that we still do not understand today. The pyramids are aligned with Orion's belt. They are built on ley lines that are so succinct to instruments we have today. Isn't it uncanny that the latitude of the Great Pyramid of Giza is at29.9792° N and the Speed of light is approximately 299,792,458 m/s. Are the pyramids older than we think or are told? How will we ever know, if we do not have the technology to build them now, so they say. Were they resting places for pharaohs, a healing chamber, a portal to another dimension? Perhaps they all are true. Have you ever meditated inside the great pyramids and felt the reverberations? What is below what we know in the queen's chamber. Even at 4,500 years old, the Great Pyramid of Giza is still revealing new secrets. What did our ancestors know that we do not? Are these building transmitters and receivers to the cosmos, or the life after death? There are a million questions with no answers, we can only wonder and think about what this place is for and why. We will never know, which makes us ever more curious. The stories of our collective past tell us who we are and what we can become in the future. And in this future, how will we communicate our past to those who come long after us? The hieroglyphs that are chiseled into stone tables and limestone temple walls are records of people, kings, and gods. What of the words and images we write and transcribe on the internet. Are these our temple walls, and each post the stories we tell and how we communicate with one another? Will a simple grocery list be a sacred text for the future looking back into the pas to discover our secrets of how we lived our lives? What message do you want to leave for 4,000 years from now? I leave you with only questions because that is what the past gives us, questions and the future tries to give us the answers. But here we are, right now. Left with only one last question, a riddle to think about. Asked long ago in a Sophocles story that no one else could answer, except by the king of Thebes, Oedipus Rex. "What walks on four legs in the morning, two legs at noon, and three legs in the evening?"
