Where is the land that exists that makes this place the 7th continent? Under the ice that took millions of years to compact. There are pink sandy beaches and metamorphic rocks that are teeming with animal and plant life. Emperor penguins come here to nest their young. They dont leave their side until they are grown. Sometimes their eggs get picked off by other species of birds hunting from the sky. There were towns of penguins gathered together. Swimming, sliding, squawking around. They are the true citizens of this continent. All dressed up in their tuxedos for every occasion. Civilized creatures, unlike their mortal enemy. The Leopard seal. Those seals eat penguins for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sometimes the orca whales come out to play and find their prey, penguins and seals. Outside of the animal food chain there is peace on Earth. Antarctica is where peace exists. All countries working together in the name of science. No one has claim to any territory, as like the moon in space. On this ice planet, can we truly get along? Maybe peace begins in the last place we were ever meant to be. In harsh conditions, create co-operation. I really wonder what goes on down there. Ancient aliens bases, the entrance to hollow earth, the ice walls that house us. or simply the south pole covered with ice. There must be something to discover, after all Pangea broke apart with tectonic plates drifted over millions of years. Our history buried in deep snow, somewhere deep in a base underground. How many people live on Antarctica year round? Other than the penguins who inhabit the South pole raising their young. They are the rulers of this land, the Emperor penguins reign to covet their offspring for generations after generations. The safest place on Earth, away from all the humans who bring them bird flus. So do not touch the birds, don't get too close. Respect the flightless bird and laugh at their jokes. They are funny little critters slipping and sliding around their towns. They just want to live in peace as we do when we are home too.
