We met at Claras favorite ice cream parlor before walking over to the Gillman Barracks. A year prior, Clara included in an art exhibition showcasing my Doppelganger work, The museum was closed so we decided to make outside of the doors on the same floor where the art was shown. A symbolic gesture to honor our connection and our past that brought us together through art, and now making art in the same place. Everything comes full circle. From online to real life, and back online again. There are no borders when working in digital art, and there are friends all over the world. We are all just nodes looking to connect with one another. What makes the world a smaller place over time but meeting people everywhere you go. After traveling you get a sense of space and gain a sense of self and how the world works as you navigate it. All it takes is time to get from one place to another, time you have to commit to the journey. You can literally go anywhere, and all you need is the time to get there. Sometimes, right where you are is right where you need to be. Art lead the way to more art. Always say yes to an art show. To be part of something bigger than yourself so the work can live on its own.
