The Sky I Carried Home
The Descent, and Then the Stars
Coming down was never just about going back.
It was about letting the mountain stay where it belongs
and carrying its silence within me.
That night, beneath a sky stitched with stars,
I laid down among the trees,
and everything slowed.
No music. No thoughts.
Just the soft hum of earth still spinning.
I wasn’t seeking answers anymore.
I was learning to live with wonder.
Sometimes, the stars don’t guide you.
They simply remind you
that you’ve made it through the dark,
and are still here to see the light.
