Core of Light
Chromatic Echoes #1323
Chromatic Echoes is my attempt to turn the invisible vibrations of sound into a visual symphony. Inspired by Wassily Kandinsky, who saw painting as a visual form of music, I wanted to explore how rhythm, tone, and emotion could coexist on a single plane of color and geometry.
Each form in the composition behaves like a note resonating within an unseen melody. Circular and linear elements intertwine like instruments in dialogue, while reflections below extend their sound into silence. The palette moves from deep ultramarine to warm amber, capturing the feeling of a crescendo dissolving into calm.
The generative process mirrors improvisation, where node responds to chance and intention equally. I allowed the algorithm to perform like a jazz ensemble, each iteration adding harmony and dissonance until balance quietly emerged.
In Chromatic Echoes, color becomes vibration, geometry becomes rhythm, and reflection becomes memory. The piece invites you to listen through the eyes and feel how music might look when frozen in light.
