From a morning walk in Quartzite, Arizona. Moments after taking this image, a woman approached us and told us that the saguaro in this scene would be removed later that day. It had grown top heavy, and the bottom had started to waste away. Residents were worried about it falling into their home. It was a good reminder to me that the things I document won't always be around to document. At least not the way that they are when I first see them.
