A 4th of July technique used to layer a stack of photographs and blend them into a single rendered image. This 2018 version from Mt. Wilson captures the local resident fireworks from Pasadena all the way out to the coast of the South Bay. This is hands down one of the most popular overlooks to view the 4th of July celebrations but requires a smog free day. If conditions align, you can observe multiple firework shows and the entire urban landscape lighting off fireworks all night long.
