A 4th of July technique used to layer a stack of photographs and blend them into a single rendered image. This 2020 version from the Hollywood Hills captures a rare 4th of July full moon alignment; the Buck Moon. Finding an overlook in the hills where the moon aligned above the skyline was top priority to be able to capture this combination of the full moon and fireworks as it is the only time I’ve ever been able to capture them both together. This is my all time favorite 4th of July photograph for this reason.
