About a year ago it was brought to my attention that there was an iconic Circuit City plug still out in the wild in Somerville, MA. Ironically, I had been to the plaza it's in time and time again back in the day but sadly my photography aesthetic wasn't "only person/astronaut left on earth after a catastrophic global disaster" and I never paid much attention to it. I've been meaning to get there to do exactly this- self portraits in my astronaut suit. What everyone doesn't see here is the construction workers who were harassing me- one with an absolutely terrible dad joke: "Did you LAND at Circuit City today?" Most of you wouldn't believe the interactions I have to deal with when I'm out doing this. Anyway, this is a self portrait. The trigger to my camera is in the thumb part of my right glove.
