March 2025: This is a self portrait (that's me, ya girl, in the suit). Took a short road trip to Vermont with my partner in hopes to take some photos in front of an old abandoned pizza hut. When we got there (my luck always) it has been demolished just days prior to our arrival. Totally bummed, I drove around the area looking for other places. Vermont never disappoints. I honestly found random locations that were beyond what I was hoping for- this incredible MOTEL being one of them. I found it said to discover someone actually lived here. Probably squatters. They sent their dog out- he just looked at me, barked, and went back inside (lucky for me). People not being able to afford to live comfortably is the current trend unfortunately. The timer to my camera is in the thumb of my right glover.
