On 2 May 2014, at the New Museum's Seven on Seven in New York, Kevin McCoy registered Quantum on the Namecoin blockchain: the work widely called the first NFT. This homage weaves it as twelve concentric octagon rings in pink, violet, blue and cyan. The ground cloth is woven from the registration's own hash: it sets the threading, tie-up and treadling of an 8-shaft loom, so the pattern belongs to this transaction and no other. Top and bottom, the hash as a punch card: all 256 bits. Woven on a simulated Jacquard loom, 160 × 240 threads.
