"Gondelbar" Day #17/365 Dlawr: Photo a Day 2024 Can you believe places like this exist? A bar in a train car on the side of a mountain? No, me neither. I had no expectations when my friends asked us to come with them to Switzerland. I've tried to live a lot of life like that. If something seems good, I just go for it. There was a time last year when my friend Ben suggested I take a course based on art and introspection. Every single day for 100 days you had to commit to making a piece of art and doing introspective work. It was a TON of work. But every day I did it. I'll be honest, when I signed up for the course I didn't read it. I just trusted my friend, felt like it was something I should pursue, and went for it. Stepping out in trust is one of the scariest things. The thing is, you never know where you're going to end up. You never know if it will work out. But, I challenge you to lean into uncertainty. Say yes to your friends when they ask you to make art for 100 days. Say yes when your friends invite you to Switzerland. Just do it. It might not be easy and it might not be something as big as a trip around the world. It could be something as simple as an invite to coffee or a new job. Regardless though, if you feel a pull, just go for it. Stepping out in faith towards the things you want to pursue, no matter how uncertain is ALWAYS WORTH IT.
