Primordia – The Light of the Womb
In this work, I explore the primordial essence of creation through the archetype of woman. Inspired by Byzantine mosaic tradition, I use gold as a symbol of inner radiance — a light that emerges from within rather than descending from above.
The female figure stands as an embodiment of origin, her hands gently resting at her womb, the center of becoming, where life and creation unfold. The flowing hair and fragmented mosaic surface symbolize the continuous cycle of emergence, memory, and wholeness formed from fragments.
With Primordia – The Light of the Womb, I aim to honor woman as the silent architecture of life and creation.
