Surreal Soulscapes

Sometimes I feel as if I am standing right in the center of a colossal compass. Thousands of data points flow around me, North is constantly shifting, and I am trying to remember who I am. In creating this piece, I didn't lay Da Vinci’s perfect man on a laboratory table; instead, I imprisoned him within the endless search inside myself.
Look closely at the marble texture of the figure. I didn't draw him on paper; I carved him into marble because I loathe the fleeting, erasable nature of the digital world. A human should stand like a hard rock upon a thousand-year legacy amidst this storm. Those multiple arms... they aren't just "tasks." They are extensions of my fragmented soul, reaching out for the past, terrified of the future, and forced to cling to the present all at once.
