We live in a world where our identities are fragmented across physical and virtual realms.
I work in my paintings aided by a robotic arm, typically a tool of precision and repetition, but it has been re-programmed to express the chaos and complexity of our digital lives, through forced error.
Who are we when our identities are scattered across multiple platforms? Our "true self" exists? Or is it merely the sum of our digital and physical fragments? In a world of curated profiles and algorithmic reflections, can we ever truly see ourselves, or are we forever gazing into a hall of mirrors?
This piece was created using traditional painting , acrylics, markers, tattoo ink, aided by a hacked robotic arm.
