Arte Del Diablo: The Many Shades of Black
The Shapes of Man
Three shapes hold a universe.
A circle—endless, without beginning or edge.
A triangle—the first spark of form, the pulse of life.
A square—structure, foundation, the world we stand upon.
Inspired by the geometric philosophy explored by Sengai Gibon in The Universe, this work brings those shapes into the human body. The figure stands between the infinite and the earthly, reaching toward the circle while rooted in the square.
Patterns move through each form like different languages of existence: cosmic rhythm, living energy, and material order.
The body becomes a meeting point—
a place where spirit, life, and matter briefly share the same shape.
