Climb
I came across this orange staircase while visiting East Point during a two-week trip to Georgia. What first caught my attention wasn't just the architecture of the area itself, but the way the bold colors, the blue sky, and a single white cloud came together for just a brief moment. The lines of the staircase, from where I stood, seemed to lead the eye to the cloud, as if it had quietly climbed to the top. It wasn't a scene I planned or waited for. I saw it, reached for my phone, and took the shot right away before the moment disappeared. Looking back, this photograph reflects what I enjoy most about shooting cities: the surprise of finding unexpected compositions within ordinary urban spaces.
