I often get lost in my thoughts when I’m climbing. After hours of walking, fatigue was settling in. The sun and clouds above were performing their infinite ballet, and as I looked up, a beam of light broke through, illuminating one of the neighbouring peaks. It looked like a mirage. In that moment, I was listening to one of my favourite Hip-Hop bands: the Wu-Tang Clan. Somehow, the clouds must’ve been tuned into my mind, because what I saw felt unreal. The light and shadows carved a shape so unmistakable, it echoed their iconic logo across the mountainside. I stood there, stunned. The sight filled me with an electric surge of inspiration, just enough to push through the next stretch of the journey. I’ll never forget that moment.
