The Versions of Me That Survived
There are versions of ourselves that the world never gets to meet.
The person we were before the pain. The person we became because of it. The parts we had to hide, protect, and carry quietly while learning how to continue.
This piece is about the invisible transformations that happen inside us. The moments that break something within us, but also create something new.
The fragmented face represents the many identities we carry , the memories we keep, the wounds we heal from, and the strength we discover along the way.
The butterflies are reminders that even the darkest places can become the beginning of change.
Maybe healing is not about becoming someone new.
Maybe it is about accepting every version of ourselves that helped us survive.
