There stood FamilyDogecoin, a human sorceress and guardian of the fire that no rain could kill. For many years she had watched the tree burn, not as punishment, but as promise. While kingdoms fell and monsters multiplied beyond the cliffs, she kept her vigil with tired eyes and golden hands. Then the air beside her trembled. Pink light gathered above her palm. The Orb appeared. She did not bow. “I know what you are,” she whispered. “A thing from tomorrow.” “No,” said the Orb. “I am what tomorrow could not afford to lose: the memory of creation.” The flames of the tree bent toward it, as if listening. “Then why come to me?” she asked. “I guard only fire.” The Orb lowered its light upon her. “You guard more than fire,” the Orb replied. “You guard continuity. The small, stubborn light that survives every age of teeth and ruin.” She looked toward the burning tree. “Hope is thin on these shores,” she said. “Hope was never meant to be thick,” answered the Orb. “Only unbroken.” For a moment, the sea grew silent.
