Namibia was the ultimate test for another dream turned reality. Over the last few years, I've fallen deep into the world of astrophotography - spending countless hours learning the ropes with trackers, astromodified cameras, filters, and specialized software. Back home in Israel, the heavy light pollution always gave me an easy excuse whenever a shot didn't turn out perfectly. But the Namibian desert strips away all excuses. With some of the darkest, clearest skies on Earth, it was just me, my gear, and the cosmos. It was a massive challenge to see if I could truly deliver under perfect conditions.
