They’re in our dreams, they’re in our thoughts, they’re in our hearts in every waking moment we live in. Endlessly bound to us by the love we shared with them when they were here. The loved ones who leave us in this world leave an unexplainable connection that will be with us till we join them. We love and think of them just as much and sometimes even more than we did when they were here. It’s one of the most powerful characteristics of love: the ability to transcend life itself. In the early stages the pain is inconceivable and leaves us empty, in a state of unpredictable expressions. In the end the raging emotions settle and become more subtle and warm like a hug on a tough day. Grief fades, and the beautiful bits of their existence become immortalized in our memory.
