Deep inside every one of us there is a bright light, eager to show itself to the rest of the world. The best part is that it means different things to each of us. It could be anything from the people we hold dear to us to the gifts we came into the world with and even the unique traits and interests that make us different from others. Whatever it is, it’s hidden somewhere inside of us. The biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we don’t have it and it’s not for us, but we all do. It just comes to us at a predestined time we’re least expecting it, in little moments when life feels like a dream. We can’t afford to give up before we find it because it’s there to make life worth living. It fills us with hope and purpose. I found mine long ago; since then, my perspective on how life happens to me has transformed into something more purposeful and meaningful. Now, it’s up to you to find yours. The light in the dark.
