Wildflowers

Among the Wild We grow like flowers in fields unknown, Some blue, some gold, through soil and stone, Each stem a path that wind has blown, Each bloom a truth we've never shown. No gardener's hand to choose our place, Yet here we stand, embracing space. Through tangled grass and reaching high, Some petals fall while others fly, The crimson learns beside the shy, All drinking from the same broad sky. We're wild and free, yet intertwined, Each rooted deep, yet unconfined. And when our season's song is sung, We'll seed the ground where we once sprung, Our colors fade, yet ever young, The ancient dance forever young. Like wildflowers in their random grace, We bloom exactly where we face.
