Born from Marta's early glitch experiments of 2011/2012 this work combines photography, digital photo manipulation, and pure glitching techniques based on disrupting various file types. "The Hidden Portrait" moves as far from photorealism as possible, leaving only traces of shapes and textures, such as hair and eyes. The thick encrusted pixels and distortion come forward, unapologetically taking center stage.
