BROKERS

Generative HTML 3D interactive artwork “Brokers” is built on a paradox: the illusion of participation in a system where everything seems already decided. Each click regenerates the composition, alters the object, changes the tool... and yet nothing changes. The noise persists. The glitch insists. Surfaces repeat themselves like an exhausted reflection of themselves. The piece works with textures of facades and urban remains: captures of walls, signs of use, wear and tear, traces of what has been inhabited and removed. The broken image becomes language; noise becomes matter. The work dialogues with real estate speculation, but from its most intimate and deaf dimension: not spectacular demolition, but continuous, almost imperceptible erosion. Creation as a form of wear and tear. Transformation that does not transform. Production that disturbs, displaces, and consumes. Here, the viewer does not decide: they merely keep the cycle in motion. With each click, the world is not changed, it is affirmed. “Brokers” is an exercise in insistence: to continue making images even though everything is shaking, to continue building on what is already broken, to continue clicking because to stop would be to accept collapse. The artwork offers no way out. It offers a question: What sustains persistence when transformation is no longer possible? About Periphery / Maskay Gallery
