“AIRWAVES (Signal #2)” is the second edition in “AIRWAVES: Ripple Effects,” an ongoing project by Vanezuva that explores censorship, digital mimicry, and the emotional residue of mediated realities. This piece is an abstract reflection on the fragmented nature of truth in a time of surveillance. In this environment, dissent is silenced, memory is manipulated, and media becomes a divisive battleground of perception. What do we see, and what has been intentionally erased? This edition is a participatory “signal.” A record that you were here, bearing witness. An invitation to help build a living archive in resistance to silence, distortion, and erasure. One that demands we hold onto what dominant systems want us to forget. Minting this piece grants collectors access to phase one of the “AIRWAVES: Ripple Effects” project. As a holder, you become part of an evolving collaboration with the artist. In future phases, collectors will be allowlisted to contribute visual or written content to a dynamic, blockchain-based archive. These contributions will help shape new artworks, immersive installations, and a long-form, evolving film. The edition is an invitation to co-create, reflect, and take part in a project unfolding across digital and physical space.
