Anachronism

Anachronism is a series of 333 AI-generated works reimagining the Renaissance through the lens of corrupted foresight.

These paintings ask: what if the art of that era had been fractured by technological distortion, and how might visual symbols—once laden with spiritual, political, or cultural meaning—have been read in their own time, versus how we reinterpret them now with the burden and benefit of hindsight? Each image is both homage and disruption: a dialogue between human and machine. By reframing Renaissance vision through the distortions of artificial intelligence, Anachronism proposes a speculative history—an alternate canon shaped not by brush and pigment alone, but by the unpredictable hand of technology across centuries.

What if the art of the renaissance was fractured by technological distortion?

From the Artist:

In 1982 I picked up a camera for the first time. 33 years would pass before I picked up a camera again with any intent on capturing beauty. After many years of creating beautiful hair at the highest level in the tv, fashion and hair industry, my focus shifted to creating art in the form of digital, photography, painting and collage work. My art is the product of one simple rule: make iconic imagery of cool people, places and things.
