Handcrafted, painted and glazed using the same raw materials and techniques as 400 years ago. A white paste is prepared using plenty of quartz powder and shaped by placing it on a pottery wheel. It is then dried in the sun and baked in an kiln at 800-900 degrees. When it cools down, it is taken back to the kiln by applying a white thin quartz primer. On this lining, ornaments are drawn and colored. The tile takes its most beautiful form after it is covered with a thin transparent glaze at the last stage and in the last baking.
