Ra emerged from the depths of the Nile, his boat of light cutting through the darkness. To the Egyptians, he was the creator, the father of all life, his golden rays stretching over the desert and the river, bringing the world into being with each new day. Ra’s journey across the sky was a royal procession, his passage assured and majestic. The people of Egypt bowed in reverence as his light touched the temples and pyramids, knowing it was Ra who breathed life into the land. As he descended into the underworld each night, the world waited, for they knew Ra would rise again, eternal and all-seeing.
