La Quinta is a desert town located in the Palm Springs area of the Coachella Valley in California. This image was taken in 2024 at La Quinta Resort, opened in the 1920s. Originally as a private retreat for celebrities, it became a secluded getaway for the likes of Bette Davis, Greta Garbo, Clark Gable and Frank Sinatra.
