Thikse Gompa or Thikse Monastery is a gompa affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey approximately 19 kilometres east of Leh in Ladakh, India. At 3600m, i went to shoot this beauty on the last day of my Ladakh tour. It was amazing feeling to end the tour with some amazing light and beauty. I was amazed by the colors and whole scenery lit up my feeling and emotions while shooting up in the Himalayas.
