The Abyss
Thoughts of the underwater world may not seem quite so vivid or beautiful, for the depths are not just about coral and the play of light.
The depths hold secrets.
Where sunlight ends, the realm of ancient memories begins. Lost cities lie beneath the water’s surface, majestic statues watch over the passing of the centuries, and creatures that have survived entire eras continue their silent journey amongst the ruins.
The ocean does not forget.
It carefully preserves the stories of those who vanished long before us. Every column covered in seaweed, every stone on the seabed and every shadow in the darkness may be the remnants of a world that once flourished.
We look into the depths and see only water.
But perhaps the depths are looking back at us.
And whilst we dream of the underwater world, the ocean continues to keep its most ancient secrets in places where not a single ray of light has yet reached.
