The other future
The Other Future is the second chapter of the Carried project.
While Carried preserves memories as they were lived, The Other Future reimagines memories as they could have been.
Memory is never fixed. Every time we return to it, we reshape it. These works do not erase the past; they explore the possibility that every memory carries another version of itself—one where fear gives way to freedom, loss to hope, and endings are rewritten.
Each artwork in this series is created in a 7:3 format. The Earth has never existed in 1:1 or 16:9; those are the proportions of our screens. By abandoning familiar aspect ratios, I question the invisible frames that shape not only how we see images, but also how we remember, imagine, and inhabit the world.
Perhaps every memory carries another future.
