Pure Moments
Shadows of the Empire
For over a century, the Empire State Building has been an iconic symbol of New York City and its prominence in the world. Despite its towering stature, it is not just admired by people from all around the globe for its grandeur – but also shrouded in mystery and intrigue.
Throughout history many visitors have reported unusual occurrences happening late at night when few are looking – sightings of ghostly figures, whispered conversations echoing throughout empty hallways, eerie lights flickering in windows that were supposed to be dark… No one knows if these stories are true or merely myths born out of superstition; all we know for certain is that no matter how much time passes by this remarkable structure continues to captivate us with both awe and wonderment.
As the sun set over America's most famous skyline, I captured this stunning angle of this magnificent building. The intricate details of the skyscraper were illuminated by the twilight and contrasted with its neighbouring buildings, creating a spectacular and enigmatic scene that will undoubtedly remain iconic for years to come. It was an unforgettable moment, and I am grateful to have been able to capture it.
