I was always observing the work done by human hands, whether structural or decorative, amazed to understand that we could shape our environment using simple techniques. The gesture was evident in the strength of the lines, the proportions, and the choice of visible surfaces. How could this balance between empty and full be achieved? By eroding the material until the sensitive was reached. When I was 16, I already had a few basic tools for carving stone, and I was practicing. My father, an artist, painter-poet and art lover, took a book on the life of sculptor Constantin Brancusi out of the family library. It was a revelation. Having already researched sculpture from the 15th to the 18th century, I moved on to another level, understanding the free power of choice to be, going beyond classical codes for a powerful, massive, fundamental aesthetic. My early sculptures were directly influenced by Brancusi. The search for the perfect form, without context and self-sufficient, as if placed on its own representation. A breaking point between celestial mysticism and raw archaism. Anchored to the ground like a pagan artifact laden with symbolism. Shortly after this period, instinctively choosing a profession, I decided to become a stonemason. For more than 20 years, I worked on renovating some of the most beautiful heritage sites, such as castles, churches, and cathedrals, learning centuries-old techniques for restoring old buildings. This gave me access to the inner workings of these structures, further fueling my fascination with this material that has stood the test of time. I have also produced and sold a few personal sculptures and participated in exhibitions in France. Now a full-time artist, I continue to devote myself to aesthetics, sculpting images and minds, pursuing my quest for ephemeral immortality." J'allais, pendant plus de 20 ans, travailler à rénover les plus beaux patrimoines tels que les chateaux, les églises et les cathédrales, en apprenant les techniques centenaires de restauration du batî ancien et, m'ouvrant l'accès aux coulisses de ces édifices, j'allais nourrir encore ma fascination pour cette matière traversant les âges. J'ai par ailleurs, produit et vendu quelques sculptures personnelles et aussi participé à des expositions en France. Aujourd'hui artiste à temps plein, je me consacre toujours à l'esthétisme, sculptant les images et les esprits, parcourant ma quête d'immortalité éphémère." La vârsta de 16 ani, când dețineam deja câteva unelte rudimentare pentru a ciopli piatra, mă exersam, iar tatăl meu, artist, pictor-poet și iubitor de artă, mi-a scos din biblioteca familiei o carte despre viața sculptorului Constantin Brâncuși. A fost o revelație. Deoarece mă documentasem deja asupra sculpturii din secolele XV-XVIII, am trecut la un alt nivel, înțelegând forța liberă a alegerii de a fi, depășind codurile clasice pentru o estetică puternică, masivă, fundamentală. Primele mele sculpturi au fost influențate direct de Brâncuși. Căutarea formei perfecte, fără context și care se suficientă pe sine, ca și cum ar fi așezată pe propria reprezentare. Punct de ruptură între misticismul celest și arhaismul brut. Ancorat în pământ ca un artefact păgân încărcat de simbolism. La scurt timp după acea perioadă, orientându-mă din instinct către o meserie, am decis să devin pietrar. Timp de peste 20 de ani, am lucrat la renovarea celor mai frumoase monumente de patrimoniu, precum castele, biserici și catedrale, învățând tehnici seculare de restaurare a clădirilor vechi și, având acces în culisele acestor edificii, mi-am alimentat și mai mult fascinația pentru acest material care traversează veacurile. De asemenea, am creat și vândut câteva sculpturi personale și am participat la expoziții în Franța. Astăzi, ca artist cu normă întreagă, mă dedic în continuare esteticii, sculptând imagini și spirite, continuând căutarea mea de nemurire efemeră."
