Wake Forest 1912 Landscape

I painted this from an old black and white photograph. This oil painting was chosen and published for the cover of the book "Connections, 100 Years of Wake Forest" and the original was purchased by the Town of Wake Forest. The pioneers and entrepreneurs who established businesses in Wake Forest during the late 19th and early 20th centuries were venturing into uncharted territory, driven by a vision for growth and development. Dedication and vision laid the foundation for Wake Forest's growth and development, echoing the theme of journey and commitment. We are all on our own journey. Let’s stay on the path God has for us. Luke 9:57 Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.” Original Oil Painting by Bonnie Brooks 30% of proceeds will go to charity Thank you for your support 🖤
