The Penguin’s Magic Mug
In a kingdom of pastel and soft-falling white,
A penguin sits cozy in winter’s delight.
With earmuffs of velvet and scarf wrapped so tight,
He sips on hot cocoa through stars shining bright.
The marshmallows bob in a blue ceramic cup,
While hearts of white steam from the pink mug drift up.
Beside him, two snow-kitties, tiny and round,
Keep watch o'er the glitter that carpets the ground.
A snowman stands tall with a carrot-tipped grin,
As holiday magic and wonder begin.
Behind them, a cottage glows warm from within,
With garlands of light where the wood-fire has been.
The pine tree is dressed in its baubles and lace,
Reflecting the joy on each sweet, snowy face.
In this dream of December, all worries take flight,
Wrapped in the glow of a soft, starry night
